Quick Update!

The foundation has been poured. I believe that includes the basement also. Going take pictures tomorrow. I just got the cord for my camera so new pictures soon! I promise.

Tales of the dog watcher!

So my in-laws are out of town visiting my new niece, so J and I are staying at their house watching their dogs and our 2. That would be a total of 5 dogs. Well last night was the first night and J is out of town so it was all me. Well apparently that meant it was party time! Rufuss and Kayla thought it was party time about every 2 hours. I would have put them out side but I couldn’t do that to them. So this morning I am exhausted. I have not slept a total of 3 nights. I NEED SLEEP! I am dragging so bad today. So it’s needless to say it will be an early evening for me!

Quick Update!

We have a hole! At least that’s what I’m told. So things should get moving with the house now. I plan on taking pictures on Friday when we go check it out.

Weekend Picnic

My husband has decided to go to GRAD SCHOOL! I am so excited and proud of him for making this decision. He is going for Metallurgy. We have been talking about this for awhile and he has finally decided to do it. He will be going back to where he received his B.S. He went Friday and talked to a few professors and deans and they told him he would have no problem getting in. In fact they were trying to talk him into starting this fall. He decided that he needs to brush p on his math skills and will spend the next few months doing that.

So knowing what awaits us in January besides moving into a new house, we have lots of planning to do. I believe we have decided to take one last little vacation before he starts school. Our destination? Miami! Besides the fact I’ve always wanted to go, we found a great deal the weekend in October that his Dolphins play my Saints! So we will spend our last vacation for a while on the beautiful beach of Miami.

So I have also figured out that I am really going to need a hobby to keep me occupied. I am really thinking it might be photography and painting. I know big surprise. I bought a new camera this past weekend and realized the difference a good camera can make. So I think I am going to make J dress up nice and take him to the great site around where we live and take some pictures. He won’t be happy about it but whatever.

On another note, I cannot even tell you the amount of stress that has left my body and mind since we have let everything go and decided to have fun. We feel like we have our life back. We have had more fun in the past 3 weeks just enjoying our time and spending it just talking and drinking or doing fun things, instead of worrying that we need to get home so I could get at least 5 hours of sleep to temp, or not drinking when everyone else was because of the meds. I feel like we have gained control again. In fact we were talking about this and J joked that I probably would get pregnant the month he starts grad school. Which with our luck is so true? But in the mean time we are having fun.

On the house front we went by Friday to check on it and NOTHING was done. So we went find our guys and talked to them. Apparently there was a soil issue with our 2 neighbors on the sides of us so they had to test the soil again before they started digging. So that in turn put them a week behind on our start. But everything is fine with the soil so we are good to go. They should start digging today or tomorrow. We’ll see where we are on Friday when we go back out there.

J is leaving today for the week. I am not very happy about that. I also get to stay and watch 5 dogs for three weeks. Why would I do that you ask? Well my in-laws are going to Australia to see my new niece! Oh she is something cute. Apparently though she is not a big fan of sleeping at night.

So that is all the big news for the moment. You never can be quite sure what you are going to get from us.

So excited!

I am so excited and proud of my husband at this very moment but I can't say why. I know I know I'm such a tease. I sure will share once the initial stages have been complete. But I am so proud he decided to do this! I love him.

Now next order of business, I have decided to plan a romantic night for us. I think I may do a nice dinner and wine then have some "sexy time," as J's cousin calls it. I just have to figure out when. Hmmmmmm

P.S. I told you I would be in a better mood by Wednesday!

I am having a rough day!

I am not getting along with work, particularly my vendors. They suck.

Also I spent Saturday night at a vodka bar. That should answer any questions you have!

I swear I'll be in a better mood by Wednesday, hopefully

OMG!

Guess what....................................................

There breaking ground on my house today! You thought I was excited about something else didn't you? Well in that department, I am offically late. But I am going to give it until Saturday to test when J will be home. I don't know what to think at this point. 

On a side note: I thought I was pregnant on Monday. I had a dream my Dad was sick on Tuesday night. I called to check on him and he was sick. Freaky! He just had an infected foot but he's doing fine now. But he was sick. I asked my boss about doing a board on a job on Tuesday afternoon. She said no, the client wouldn't ask for one. In my meeting yesterday they asked for one. I haven't had a client ask for one or done one in over a year. So maybe my thought on Monday will come true. THinking good thoughts!

YEAH!

We had our meeting with the contractor yesterday and their going to start digging tomorrow. We are looking at a move in date mid-November if nothing happens! Yeah

Still no AF! I may test tomorrow morning, if I can find my HPT. My husband hid them since we went to the doctor.

I can't wait until I don't know.

Sounds crazy right? Let me explain. When I went to the doctor and got her wonderful advice I already knew I ovulated for the month, which puts me at 12 DPO today. Next month however I will not e aware of all this information so I won't be monitoring every squeak my body makes. I am working on the letting go part but it's hard when you have a little information. SO I know I am probably just over thinking things but what going on with me can only be 2 things. I have a sinus infection coming on or I'm pregnant. See I shouldn't even be thinking about this but I can't help it. See again this is why I can't wait until I don't know. I have been so exhausted the past 2 days. I took 2 hour naps the past 2 days and then turned around and slept all night. I have felt green since last night and just not quite right. But all this could be because of a sinus infection. This is usually what happens when I get one of those. Also I don't have sore boobs like I did when I was pregnant and I am not hungry all the time like I was either. I hate this. This is exactly why I am so happy I won't know this stuff anymore and I can get back to having a normal life. 

On other baby news, I should be an aunt for the 4th time sometime this month. Very excited to be Aunt B again!
